07/30: A message from a NY customer

I used to be married to an abuser who left me with a leg broken in numerous places and 6 children to take care of.

I am college educated and worked for The American Red Cross until my broken leg.
I gathered the courage to move myself and children to another city, and the problems ended.
HOWEVER- we had to start over in an apartment with a neighbor who has harassed me constantly in a sexual manner, and I am afraid again.

I wonder if I were a NYC lawmaker's DAUGHTER or SISTER, would they finally protect me and others that are dealing with this?

11/16: U.K. Citizens e-Petitioning the Goverment to allow pepper sprays for self-defense.

In Great Britain, pepper sprays, including Mace sprays are illegal to carry and to use.
Citizens have started an on-line petition to allow them use these basic self-defense tools: pepper sprays and mace.

11/06: Brave business woman from Deltona, FL used pepper spray and stopped a burglar.

Karen Williams, 49, who owned the Appleby's Produce store was reportedly "sick and tired" of constant burglaries of her delivery truck.
After she reported 6 or 7 burglaries night after night, Karen decided "to take care of business" herself...

10/29: Fight back with pepper spray and succeed

Here are 3 stories recently reported by media where a would-be "victim" turned out to be a winner.
In all 3 stories young ladies while in desperate predicament fought back with a mere can of pepper spray and saved their dignity and most likely -- their lives.

1) Northern Illinois University in DeKalb, Ill. Attempted robbery "victim" fights back with pepper spray

2) University of Tennessee student under attack used her wits and pepper spray to escape serious harm.

3) A woman attacked in Chicago, Ill said pepper spray saved her life.

10/29: Stun guns and pepper spray situation overseas

Recently we received 2 interesting emails from a Danish customer. Actually he is a fellow shop owner dealing in self-defense tools overseas. He has an interesting insight into stun gun and pepper spray situation in European countries.

Here is his first email:

"Hello.

I'm having a little shop with security accessories in Sweden...
The site which i used to buy stunguns, peppersprays etc. is now closed and then i found you through google because you are the cheapest [Thank you, Jesper!].

But i know the problem is that my shop is based in Sweden, but i live in Denmark where Peppersprays are illegal.

But it's sad to hear you can't send Stunguns to Denmark from United States.
Jesper."

04/22: Pepper Spray and stun guns are still illegal in Canada

An Ottawa man was fined $2,000 for attempting to bring pepper spray, stun guns and other self-defense items into Canada. Continuous rumors and hearsays that Canada finally allowed Mace, pepper sprays and stun guns on its territory are what they are - rumors and hearsays.


The self-defense products you can legally own and use here in the US are still illegal north of the border in Canada. Here is what happened:

04/15: Woman attacked in Spokane was able to escape.

A woman escaped an attack by using self-defense measures, but the suspect is still at large.
